Casa Keza

Does brunch have to be within that mid-morning/afternoon timeline? Not according to Casa Keza. The Spanish Tapas bar offers brunch all day, every day! So if you’re looking for a filling meal but don’t feel like having a full-on lunch or dinner, you can get their brunch option any day.

For 8,500 RWF, you get a hot drink, toast, pancakes, shakshuka, or some yogurt, and your preferred smoothie. Their brunch menu isn’t too diverse, but the meal is fulfilling.

On top of that, Casa Keza is a kid-friendly restaurant. It has a playground with slides and a playhouse for children. And, on weekends, a kids entertainer engages the kids with fun games and activities while you enjoy your afternoon with friends or family. For only 3,500 RWF, your child gets a snack, drink, and entertainment. My friend’s kids love Casa Keza on weekends. I would recommend it for parents and people looking to meet up with friends who have small children.

Poivre Noir serves brunch each Saturday from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm(start time is 1:00 pm for Umuganda Saturdays). But, unlike other restaurants in this list, Poivre Noir’s menu items each have their own costs, ranging from 6,000 RWF to 18,000 RWF.

Poivre Noir is especially suitable for that fine dining brunch experience with beautifully detailed aesthetics both with the food and the restaurant.

Inka Steak House

Inka Steak House

If you’re wondering how chicken and pancakes would taste combined, I’m here to tell you it tastes more delicious than it sounds. But you can always try it out for yourself at Inka Steak House’s Sunday Brunch. That’s not all they offer, though. For 27,000 RWF, you can choose a meal from their special brunch menu

Pick a hot drink, fruit juice, a salad, and a sandwich or sub. Top it off with either sweet pancakes or a fruit salad. You can add their house wine by picking the 35,000 RWF brunch package or get premium wines or champagne with the 75,000 RWF package.

Sunday Dim Sum at Tung Chinese Cuisine is great for large groups, with their communal-style dining set up (tables of four or more people). For only 15,000 RWF per person, you get a buffet-style setup of a diverse range of small bites. Tung Chinese Cuisine serves multiple types of dumplings, spring rolls, rice cakes, dim sum buns, meatballs, chicken feet, and more.

I’ll be honest, I’m not an expert when it comes to Chinese food, but I did surprisingly like the chicken feet. I would definitely recommend Tung Chinese Cuisine for both vegetarians and meat lovers looking for some Chinese cuisine. The brunch is from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at the restaurant in Century Park Hotel and Residences.

Billy’s Bistro and Bar
