As the new owner of Living In Kigali and authority over our private Facebook group, I understand the importance of protecting our members and ensuring that our community remains a safe space for everyone. With over 20,000 members, managing the backend of our Facebook group is a daily challenge, but it’s a challenge I take seriously. To maintain the integrity of our community, we have specific rules and guidelines that must be followed. We carefully review all potential members’ information, including profile pictures and bios, to ensure authenticity.
To join our Living in Kigali Facebook group, we ask that you answer a short questionnaire and agree to follow our rules. While we do allow members to sell their products or services, we don’t allow members to solely join the group for promoting their business. Our group is first and foremost a community, and we encourage all members to contribute positively and respectfully.
We monitor the group regularly to ensure that everyone is following the rules, and we take swift action if someone violates them. As admins, moderators, and members, we work together to maintain a positive and trustworthy community.
