Quite often, the best medical care in Kigali is offered at smaller private medical centres.
These are usually less busy than the hospitals and provide a wide range of non-emergency services. Many of the best doctors working at Kigali’s hospitals also work in private clinics – so you’re getting the same level of care.

Pharmacies
Every medical clinic and hospital in Kigali has an in-house pharmacy. However, if you want to fill a prescription or pick up over-the-counter medicine, there are also some independent pharmacy chains dotted throughout the city.
Pharmacie Conseil has well-stocked branches in Kigali Town, Nyarutarama, and Kacyiru.
Vine Pharmacy has three branches in Kisimenti, Kigali Heights, and Gacuriro.
